Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rigger in Stephenson County, Illinois. The job is on a high-rise building site. The role involves inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites 2+ years on the tools preferred.
