Ladle pourer — Beaver County

Join our team: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Beaver County, Oklahoma. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. Requirements: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Your main tasks: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $2,700 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
