Fettler — Katsina

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fettler in Katsina, Katsina State. You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Day to day you will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings.
