Falsework carpenter — Ashland County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Ashland County, Ohio. You will be based at an infrastructure construction site. Requirements: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Day-to-day duties: • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure Rotating shifts.
