Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling The role involves carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture.
