Horizontal milling machine operator — Polk County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Polk County, Missouri. On a typical shift you will machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines. Ideal candidate: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Full-time, day shift.
