We are recruiting: backhoe operator (Idaho)

Join our team: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Shoshone County, Idaho. You will be based in an open-cast quarry. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control The role involves: • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around $30 per hour, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
