Pressman — Wapello County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pressman in Wapello County, Iowa. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. On the job you will handle: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Give each garment a final press before packing • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep 5+ years on the tools preferred.
