Press operator — Christian County

Join our team: we are hiring a press operator in Christian County, Illinois. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg The role involves: • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
