Vacancy available: we are hiring a dogger in Biu, Borno State. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Your main tasks: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
