Now hiring: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Tompkins County, New York. The job is on a dam or embankment job. Day to day you will carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems 2+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
