We are recruiting: argon welding operator (Utah)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Daggett County, Utah. You will work on a structural steel site. Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
