Cnc turning machinist — Lauderdale County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Lauderdale County, Mississippi. You will work at a busy machine shop. The role involves: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Six days a week, one day off.
