Immediate opening: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Duval County, Florida. The role involves raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. What we are looking for: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
