Great opportunity: we are hiring a hand presser in Dimmit County, Texas. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. The role involves: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
