Aluminium tig welder — Lassen County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Lassen County, California. On the job you will handle: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Own basic hand tools and PPE $15 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
