Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Lamar County, Alabama. Day to day you will sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent. You should have: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
