CNC programmer-operator wanted in Ashtabula County

Join our team: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Ashtabula County, Ohio. The job is in a toolroom. On a typical shift you will measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production. Requirements: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
