Structural MIG welder wanted in Cass County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Cass County, Michigan. You will work on a structural steel site. The role involves set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
