Formwork joiner — Louisa County

Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Louisa County, Virginia. You will work at a precast concrete yard. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites On a typical shift you will fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
