Automotive paint technician — Kalkaska County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Kalkaska County, Michigan. You will be based at a dealership paint shop. The role involves blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss. You should have: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand Overtime paid at a premium rate.
