Toolroom milling operator • Young County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Young County, Texas. You will be based at a busy machine shop. The role involves: • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe What we are looking for: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T 6+ years on the tools preferred.
