Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Jefferson County, Florida. You will work in a job-work machining unit. On the job you will handle: • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear You should have: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Full-time, day shift.
