Mobile crane operator — Marshall County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Marshall County, Iowa. The job is on a high-rise tower crane. The role involves follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; work out the load weight and the lifting radius. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts 3+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
