Precision welder — Providence County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a precision welder in Providence County, Rhode Island. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection The role involves: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
