Lifting rigger — Kendall County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Kendall County, Texas. You will work on an offshore oil and gas platform. You will establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; read lift plans and method statements before starting. You should have: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
