Bench joiner — Blount County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bench joiner in Blount County, Alabama. Your main tasks: • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings 4+ years on the tools preferred.
