Elevator service technician — Menominee County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Menominee County, Michigan. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance The role involves mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; run load and overload tests with test weights; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
