Nursery worker — Carroll County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a nursery worker in Carroll County, Kentucky. You will work on a golf course. On a typical shift you will plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn. Requirements: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage 3+ years on the tools preferred. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
