Brickwork mason wanted in Multnomah County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Multnomah County, Oregon. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. Day-to-day duties: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel Requirements: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
