Tig welder • Silver Bow County, Montana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tig welder in Silver Bow County, Montana. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. On the job you will handle: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions Requirements: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings 2+ years on the tools preferred.
