Immediate opening: blocklayer (Delta State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a blocklayer in Ethiope West, Delta State. The job is on a commercial construction site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Day to day you will building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer ₦260,000 per month plus benefits.
