Falsework carpenter • Kabo, Kano State

Now hiring: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Kabo, Kano State. The job is on a bridge and flyover project. Day-to-day duties: • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line What we are looking for: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
