Immediate opening: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Gloucester County, Virginia. The job is on a residential housing development. The role involves read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground; erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
