We are recruiting: we are hiring a bricklayer in Rockdale County, Georgia. The job is on a commercial construction site. The role involves pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
