Gantry crane operator — Lincoln County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Lincoln County, Oregon. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. Day to day you will follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Able to read load charts and lifting plans 1+ years on the tools preferred.
