Kitchen steward — Glacier County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Glacier County, Montana. You will work in a hospital canteen. Requirements: • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) • Able to stand on your feet for long shifts The role involves: • Load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room • Scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading • Clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls • Clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift • Top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits.
