Vacancy available: sample machinist (California)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sample machinist in Plumas County, California. On a typical shift you will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. Requirements: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
