Blocklayer — Mariposa County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a blocklayer in Mariposa County, California. Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools The role involves building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints. Full-time, day shift. Pay around $32 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
