Pastry baker — Sabine County

Now hiring: we are hiring a pastry baker in Sabine County, Texas. You will be based in a hotel pastry kitchen. Day to day you will roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer. What we are looking for: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends.
