Argon welding operator wanted in Russell County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Russell County, Kansas. Day to day you will clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to pass a weld test on the spot We offer $4,200 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
