Gtaw welder — Yolo County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Yolo County, California. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings On a typical shift you will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges.
