Lathe programmer-operator wanted in Kings County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Kings County, California. You will be based at a busy machine shop. The role involves: • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet Requirements: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $180 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
