Vacancy available: we are hiring a cement mason in Cheshire West and Chester, England. You will be based at an infrastructure site. Day-to-day duties: • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour What we are looking for: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. £2,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
