Scaffold fitter — Montgomery County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Montgomery County, Mississippi. You will be based on a bridge maintenance job. Your main tasks: • Erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • CISRS card or local equivalent at Part 1 / Part 2 level Full-time, day shift.
