Blocklayer — Ijebu North

Vacancy available: we are hiring a blocklayer in Ijebu North, Ogun State. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. On a typical shift you will bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Full-time with occasional weekends.
