Join our team: we are hiring a press setter operator in Wirt County, West Virginia. The job is on the press shop floor. On a typical shift you will feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Overtime paid at a premium rate.
