Great opportunity: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Multnomah County, Oregon. You will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish. What we are looking for: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Meals and transport allowance provided.
