Canteen cook wanted in Brown County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a canteen cook in Brown County, Nebraska. You will be based in a hospital or office canteen. Your main tasks: • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift What we are looking for: • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets 2+ years on the tools preferred.
