Formwork carpenter — Hopkins County

Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Hopkins County, Kentucky. You will work at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Able to read formwork and structural drawings On the job you will handle: • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
